Scholarships at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology

Full-time Olds College students in any year of any program who demonstrate financial need may be considered for the Alberta-NWT Command, The Royal Canadian Legion Bursary. Eligible recipients include people who are serving or have honourably served (military, Reservists, RCMP, police officers, and Canadian Coast Guard) and their dependents, or a child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of those who have honourably served. Three bursaries of $1,000 are available. Selection is made by the college; apply through Olds College financial aid.

Full-time students in Olds College's Horticulture Technician Diploma who rank as the top academic achiever in the program and demonstrate financial need may receive this award. The scholarship is worth $1,000. Up to one award is given each year. Apply through Olds College AcademicWorks.

Second-year Agricultural Management students with academic proficiency are eligible. Applicants should show a desire to maximize their potential, community involvement, and leadership. One scholarship of $1,000 is available. Recipients are selected on academic standing, community engagement, and leadership qualities.

Animal Health Technology students who best demonstrate practical knowledge in the field may receive the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association AHT Award. One award of $750 is available. Recipients are nominated by program faculty.

Students entering their first year of full-time studies in the Agricultural Management diploma program at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology are eligible, with preference given to international students. Selection is based on financial need. One entrance award of $500 is granted. Apply through the college's internal awards application.
