Zaslove Scholarship in Humanities

For MA or PhD candidates in SFU's Department of Humanities who demonstrate academic excellence. Nomination only by the Graduate Program Chair via the Graduate Awards Application System, with an unofficial transcript and a nomination letter describing the nominee's merits.

May be held with other SFU or external awards when those agencies allow. Amount varies.

The Humanities Graduate Endowment Fund was established in 2011 with support from the Simons Foundation and Humanities faculty and staff. The scholarship honors Jerry Zaslove, an original member of the Humanities Program who helped build the department, the Institute for the Humanities, and the J.S. Woodsworth Chair.
