International essay competition from the World History Association, open to students enrolled in kindergarten through grade twelve in public, private, and parochial schools, and those in home-study programs, in any country. Entrants submit an essay relating world history to their own lives; the winner receives a $500 prize plus a one-year WHA membership. Membership in the association is not required to enter.
