Woodhead Memorial Prize in Greek and Latin

McGill University Honours Greek and Latin students in the intermediate or final year who have done the best work in the field, as determined by the Classical Studies Committee, may receive this $700 prize. No application is required. Presented by the Wiegand Memorial Foundation in honour of William Dudley Woodhead, Hiram Mills Professor of Classics and department chair from 1925 to 1950.
