About this scholarship
The Women's Educational Scholarship, administered through the Women of UNG shared interest group of the UNG Alumni Association, awards $2,000 to nontraditional female students at the University of North Georgia. Recipients are honored at the annual Women's Holiday Scholarship Luncheon, a tradition supporting women who face financial challenges while pursuing higher education. The scholarship fund accepts donations for the upcoming academic year and distributes awards to selected applicants, often including students returning to college after career or family responsibilities. Students apply through ScholarshipUniverse during the annual UNG scholarship application window.
