Iranian women and other Iranian equity-deserving gender identities in the first year of a master's or doctoral program at Dalhousie may apply, with strong academic and leadership achievements inside and outside of studies.
Two scholarships of $2,500 each per year are available, renewable for up to two years.
Apply through the Faculty of Graduate Studies online scholarship platform. The award was established in solidarity with the Woman, Life, Freedom movement by Dr. Hamed Aghakhani, members of the Iranian Canadian community, and other equity-seeking groups.
The Woman Life Freedom Scholarship awards $2,500 (2 winners).
