About this scholarship
Students in the School of Community and Regional Planning at UBC Vancouver with high academic standing in coursework on the legal context of planning are eligible for this prize. One prize of $1,150 is awarded. There is no student application; the award is made on the recommendation of the school in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The prize was endowed by Elizabeth A. Lane and by family, friends, colleagues and former students in memory of William T. Lane (B.A. 1944, B.Com. 1947, LL.B. 1948).
