About this scholarship
Undergraduate students enrolled at U.S., Canadian, or Mexican institutions may compete in the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition, a six-hour exam proctored on campus the first Saturday of December.
Cash prizes go to the five Putnam Fellows at $2,500 each, the next twelve highest scorers at $1,000 each, and the Elizabeth Lowell Putnam Prize winner at $1,000. Up to 20 students receive prizes.
Register through your institution's Putnam supervisor. Students may compete at most four times.
