About this scholarship
Texas residents ages 12 to 18 who have shown serious interest in studying music, especially bluegrass, may apply for support toward music camps, CTBA-selected bluegrass camps, or online learning resources.
Awards cover tuition plus room and board in full or in part; amounts vary.
Submit an application and two letters of recommendation online or by mail. The CTBA Scholarship Committee and Board of Directors select recipients.
The fund honors Willa Beach-Porter, a longtime Central Texas Bluegrass Association supporter and fiddler.
