Willa and Stuart B. Woods Graduate Scholarship in Physics

Outstanding UBC Vancouver graduate students in Physics specializing in experimental studies in quantum materials may be considered, with preference for those focusing on a low-temperature environment.

The scholarship is worth $6,000.

Recommendation is made by the Department of Physics and Astronomy in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.

Mrs. Willa Woods endowed the scholarship in memory of her husband Dr. Stuart B. Woods (PhD Physics, UBC 1952), an experimentalist in low temperature and solid state physics.
