About this scholarship
Entering first-year WashU Law J.D. students with strong academics and a demonstrated commitment to public service may apply for Webster Society Scholarships.
Awards include a full three-year tuition scholarship plus a $5,000 annual stipend, preferred status for summer faculty research positions, and related public-interest programming.
Submit a 1 to 2 page public-service statement with your law-school application, or ask admissions to use your personal statement. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis; early applications are encouraged. The program honors Judge William H. Webster, JD '49.
