About this scholarship
Scholarship supporting WashU students participating in university-approved study abroad or immersive learning tied to local and global histories of colonialism, slavery, and reparative justice, including eligible Ampersand Programs. Awards up to two thousand five hundred dollars offset tuition, travel, or supplemental research costs aligned with the project mission. All WashU students may apply through the project scholar application selecting the Immersive Learning option; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by the steering committee. Recipients produce a reflection essay with visuals as Project Scholars.
