About this scholarship
Rising juniors and above at accredited Washington colleges or universities who are accounting majors planning to become CPAs may apply. Eligible students include fifth-year, master's, and PhD candidates, as well as community college transfers. Licensed CPAs are ineligible unless applying for PhD assistance. A minimum 2.5 GPA in accounting and overall is required.
Scholarships range up to $10,000 depending on academic level: $5,000 for undergraduate and fifth-year students, and $5,000 to $10,000 for master's and PhD candidates. Funds apply to tuition only and are paid directly to the college.
Apply through the online portal with a resume, transcripts from all colleges attended, one letter of recommendation from a faculty member, employer, mentor, or licensed CPA, a GPA worksheet, and three 500-word essays.
