WABE Scholarship

Students entering the second year of an electronics or telecommunications program at a participating technical school, in good standing and with financial need, after completing first year in electronics. Calendar criteria also call for academic achievement, demonstrated financial need, an interest in broadcasting, and residency in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.

The award is $1,000; two awards are listed.

The Western Association of Broadcasting Engineers presents the scholarship to a participating school for internal selection. There is no direct student application to WABE.
