W.O. (Bill) Richmond Memorial Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering

Second-, third-, or fourth-year students in the UBC Vancouver Mechanical Engineering program may be nominated for this scholarship. Preference goes to students with an interest in machine design who are involved in extracurricular activities and leadership.

The award is a $3,300 scholarship endowed in memory of Professor W.O. (Bill) Richmond, who served as Professor and Department Head of Mechanical Engineering from 1937 to 1973. No separate application is required; the department makes recommendations.
