Top graduating UBC dental hygiene degree students in the Dental Hygiene Entry-to-Practice option who exemplify outstanding leadership, character, and concern for fellow students and clients, and who are active student members of the BCDHA and CDHA during their four-year program.
A $1,800 award.
No separate student application. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry.
The award was endowed by the family, colleagues, and friends of Willa Jo Gardner, an instructor in the UBC Dental Hygiene Diploma Program from 1968 to 1986.
