Volkoff Scholarship in Science

For undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science at UBC Vancouver who are entering their final year with an outstanding academic record and promise of success in their chosen field.

Recipients receive a $2,650 scholarship. Selection is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Science, with no separate student application.

Olga (Okulitch) Volkoff and George Volkoff endowed the award in appreciation of their lifelong association with UBC as students, graduates, and faculty members. Olga was a lecturer in Microbiology, and George was a Professor of Physics and Dean Emeritus of Science.
