About this scholarship
Outstanding first-year applicants to Virginia Commonwealth University who apply for fall admission with the Common Application and an official transcript by November 1 are automatically considered for university-level scholarships. The number of recipients varies.
The Deans' Scholarship covers tuition and fees up to $8,000 per year ($4,000 per semester). It is a four-year award with an estimated total value of about $32,000. Renewal for up to three additional years requires at least 28 credit hours over fall and spring on a full-time basis and a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better.
