Vantage One Excellence Award

For academically outstanding international students beginning undergraduate studies in the UBC Vantage One Program who do not yet meet the English Language Admission Standard for direct admission to UBC. Applicants should also show leadership, involvement in student affairs and community service, and notable academic or extracurricular achievement.

Awards range in value up to the full cost of the academic program and living costs, based on financial need. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or to degree completion, whichever is less, if the recipient remains an international student in Canada. Academic progress and need are reviewed annually. The award is made on the recommendation of UBC Vantage College in consultation with the UBC International Student Initiative.
