About this scholarship
Supplemental scholarship for admitted Vanderbilt first-year students named National Merit Finalists who designate Vanderbilt as their first-choice college with the National Merit Corporation by the final deadline and enroll as entering freshmen. Finalists who also receive another Vanderbilt merit scholarship are guaranteed at least two thousand dollars per year in combined National Merit support from all sources, with Vanderbilt supplementing smaller corporate awards. Finalists without another Vanderbilt merit award receive up to six thousand dollars per year total from all National Merit sources. Transfer students are not eligible.
