Valour Award in Arts for Indigenous Students

Indigenous undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts at UBC Vancouver who have demonstrated community involvement or leadership are eligible. Applicants must be registered in at least 3 credits during the current winter session.

Awards totalling $3,200 come from an endowment established by an anonymous donor. Per-recipient amounts vary.

Students apply through the Faculty of Arts and provide one reference letter from someone who can speak to their community involvement or leadership. Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Faculty of Arts, in consultation with the First Nations House of Learning.
