Vagelos Scholarship Program

Need-based MD students at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons who submit complete financial aid applications are automatically considered for Vagelos Scholarship Program awards that meet 100% of demonstrated financial need with scholarships instead of loans. Aid can cover tuition, fees, living expenses, and other approved educational costs for new and continuing students. Complete the FAFSA (code 002707) and CSS Profile (code 2148) annually, plus any required financial documentation. The program is supported by an endowment from Dr. P. Roy and Diana Vagelos and other donors, launched for eligible MD students beginning in 2018-19.
