About this scholarship
Entering freshmen majoring in eligible sciences at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga may apply for the Westbrook Scholarship of $14,000. The award is open to all applicants regardless of race, color, creed, or sex and can be combined with other UTC or Tennessee Lottery scholarships.
Once awarded, the scholarship renews automatically if you remain full-time, maintain a 3.5 GPA in your major and at UTC, earn no grade below B in major courses, participate in departmental service activities for at least two semesters beginning no later than junior year, and stay on track for four-year degree completion.

- Renewal requires full-time enrollment, a 3.5 GPA in the major and at UTC, no grade below B in major courses, departmental service for at least two semesters beginning no later than junior year, and progress toward four-year degree completion.
