About this scholarship
The Utah Promise Scholarship guarantees that tuition and mandatory fees at the University of Utah will be covered by grant and scholarship aid from all sources for four years for qualifying Utah residents. First-year, first-time students need a minimum 3.50 unweighted cumulative GPA, annual family income and assets each below $100,000 as determined by the FAFSA, a completed admission application by December 1, and FAFSA submission by February 1. The last-dollar award renews for up to eight semesters when recipients maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment, and meet annual income thresholds verified through the FAFSA.
