About this scholarship

Incoming USC first-year students are automatically considered for the Presidential Scholarship when they submit a complete admission application by the published merit deadline (November 1 Early Action, or December 1 for portfolio/audition majors). Competitive applicants pursue the most demanding curriculum and rank at the top of the pool for academic achievement; talent, perseverance, innovation, involvement, and leadership are also considered.

The award covers half of tuition (up to about $34,900 per year). Roughly 200 awards are available from a competitive national pool.
