About this scholarship
The UO Excellence Scholarship automatically recognizes a limited number of the highest-achieving nonresident incoming first-year students based on review of the admission application and academic transcripts. Recipients receive twenty thousand dollars per year for up to four years, split evenly across fall, winter, and spring terms, totaling eighty thousand dollars. No separate scholarship application is required. Apply for UO admission by January 15 and submit all required admission materials by February 15. Recipients must enroll in the fall term of their first year, maintain twelve UO credits per term, and keep a 3.00 cumulative UO GPA to renew for up to twelve academic terms.
