About this scholarship

The UNK Distinguished Scholar Award provides four thousand five hundred dollars per year toward tuition and one thousand dollars per year toward campus housing for high-achieving first-time freshmen. For Fall 2027 entry, UNK automatically reviews admitted students with at least a 3.7 high school GPA and a 26 or higher composite ACT. Eligibility requires admission to UNK and receipt of official high school transcripts and test scores by March 1. Qualified students receive offers during the first week of February. The scholarship renews for up to four years with full-time fall and spring enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.
