About this scholarship
The University Theatre Artistic Achievement Scholarship at George Fox University awards one thousand to two thousand dollars per year to incoming students who demonstrate talent in acting, design, technical theatre, or stage management. Acting applicants audition with two contrasting ninety-second monologues; design and technical applicants submit a portfolio and interview. Preference is given to students declaring a theatre minor. To renew, recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA, participate in at least two main-stage productions annually, and attend Theatremakers meetings when schedules allow. Submit the application to the theatre artistic director one week before a Scholarship Summit visit or by department deadlines.
