University of Ottawa Firmin Monestime Scholarship

Canadian citizens or permanent residents registered full-time at the University of Ottawa who demonstrate academic excellence and are members of the Outaouais Haitian community or graduated from École secondaire catholique Élisabeth Bruyère or F.J. McElligott Secondary School in Mattawa, with active or planned involvement in Haitian cultural or social community, may apply.

The award amount varies according to fund revenues and Steering Committee discretion.

Apply through Online Scholarships and Bursaries in uoZone with a high school transcript and a 250 to 500 word community-involvement letter by October 31.

The University of Ottawa Firmin Monestime Scholarship provides financial aid to students from the Outaouais Haitian community or from those named secondary schools.
