About this scholarship
Incoming freshmen at the University of Houston with competitive academic profiles and demonstrated leadership are automatically considered for the Cullen Leadership Scholarship. The Student Financial Support Committee selects recipients from the pool of admitted applicants. University-funded merit consideration generally requires a complete fall admission file by the priority date for students entering the fall after high school graduation.
The award is $1,000 and is renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) with full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
No separate scholarship application is required.
