University of BC Nursing Division Beth McCann Memorial Scholarship

Undergraduate nursing students at UBC Vancouver taking at least 24 credits of coursework who demonstrate a commitment to the nursing profession and a contribution to the University or community may be nominated.

Scholarships of $1,150 each are awarded from funds totalling $2,800 endowed in memory of Beth McCann by her friends and colleagues, with additional support from the Nursing Division of the UBC Alumni Association. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. There is no separate student application.

Beth McCann was associated with the School of Nursing for 35 years and retired in 1982.
