The University Leadership Network is an incentive-based scholarship program for about five hundred incoming UT Austin freshmen each year who show high potential and significant financial need, many of whom are first-generation college students. Participants can earn up to twenty thousand dollars over four years, paid as five thousand dollars annually in ten five-hundred-dollar monthly installments when program requirements are met. The four-year program includes leadership training, mentoring, community service, professional development, and internships.
