About this scholarship
The University Co-op George H. Mitchell Awards recognize up to five UT Austin undergraduates each year for superior scholarly or creative achievement. Four recipients receive five thousand dollars each and one top recipient receives seven thousand dollars. A faculty selection committee appointed by the executive vice president and provost chooses winners. The awards honor outstanding creative and academic work by continuing undergraduate students across the university. Students should consult the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost for current application procedures and deadlines, which are administered separately from the CNS Common Scholarship Application.
