University of Toronto Faculty of Arts & Science undergraduate students in good academic standing may apply for the Undergraduate Research Fund to support student-initiated research related to their degree. A continuing-status Arts & Science faculty member must supervise the project, and students must remain enrolled in an A&S program while the research is conducted. Priority is given to third- and fourth-year students. Students may receive this fund only once.
Funding covers research and/or travel costs for the project. The research must be completed within a year of funding or before graduation, whichever comes first, and funded students submit a short summary of findings. An application is required.
