New freshmen admitted to the University of North Dakota who earn an unweighted cumulative high school GPA of 3.90 or higher, or who score 30+ on the ACT (1370+ SAT) with at least a 3.00 GPA and submit official test scores, receive this automatic merit award. Submit the completed admission application, official transcripts, and required test scores by the February 1 priority deadline for the upcoming fall semester. The award provides three thousand five hundred dollars per year for up to four years. Recipients must enroll full time in at least twelve credits each semester and meet renewal criteria.
