About this scholarship
The UHD-Red Rose Leadership Scholarship awards three thousand dollars per academic year, paid as fifteen hundred dollars each fall and spring semester, to continuing UHD undergraduates selected for academic achievement, leadership ability, and potential to contribute to Houston's future. Applicants submit the general scholarship application and essay through the Gator Scholarship Center, hold a 3.50 UHD GPA, plan to enroll in twelve or more credit hours, and expect to graduate May 2027 or later. Candidates need fifty-seven college-level credit hours by fall 2026 including twenty-four UHD hours. Urban Education and Social Work students with reduced loads may qualify with advisor verification forms submitted by the end of Summer 3.
