About this scholarship
The UHD Lone Star Early College Accelerator Scholarship awards a one-time two thousand dollar merit scholarship to new full-time, first-time-in-college students beginning in a fall semester who completed at least five dual credit courses through the Lone Star College system while in high school. Eligible applicants need a 3.5 or higher GPA or class rank in the top sixteen to twenty-five percent plus SAT 1080 or ACT 21 or higher. Students apply for UHD admission and submit high school transcripts by April 24, 2026, complete an interest form if pre-screened, accept the award, and attend the UHD Downtown Bound event. FAFSA is not required, and the scholarship stacks with other aid.
