Outstanding Ph.D. dissertations on water issues may be recognized through the UCOWR Ph.D. Dissertation Awards, with one award in Water Policy and SocioEconomics and one in Natural Science and Engineering.
Two awards of $750 are given each year. Nominations are made by a faculty member: the nominator submits an advisor endorsement letter and a digital copy of the dissertation (or accepted journal articles constituting the dissertation) to their Lead Delegate, who then submits a nominating letter and packet to UCOWR.
