About this scholarship
The UConn Hartford First-Generation Scholarship awards ten one-thousand-dollar scholarships to continuing Hartford campus undergraduates whose parents did not complete a four-year college degree. Applicants must have completed at least one semester at UConn Hartford, take at least fifty percent of current credits at Hartford, maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and submit application essays. Awards support full-time continuing students for the following academic year. Applications close April 10 and decisions are emailed to recipients in June.
