About this scholarship
Incoming first-year students admitted to UC Santa Barbara are automatically considered for the Regents Scholarship based on the UC Application for Admission. U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and AB 130/131 eligible students in the top tier of admits are selected.
Regents Scholars receive $5,000 per year for up to four years, plus priority registration, guaranteed housing, and membership in the Regents Scholars Association.
No additional application is required. Recipients must maintain a 3.20 quarterly and cumulative GPA to remain eligible.

- No additional application or materials are required; consideration uses the UC Application for Admission.

- Selection is from the top tier of admitted freshmen.
