About this scholarship

Renewable merit scholarship for out-of-state incoming freshmen charged full non-resident tuition who are not eligible for Ohio residency, tuition remission, reciprocity, metro tuition programs, distance learning rates, or another scholarship of equal or greater value directed to non-resident fees. UC awards $10,000 annually to reduce out-of-state tuition costs. Students need a complete Common Application including UC-specific sections and a high-school-submitted transcript by November 1 of the senior year. Renewal requires a 3.0 GPA and thirty hours of annual community service for up to eight full-time in-class semesters.
