About this scholarship
Entering first-year and transfer students admitted to UC Berkeley are automatically considered for the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship based on the UC admissions application. No separate application is required.
Scholars receive priority enrollment, faculty mentorship, guaranteed housing, financial aid advising, and a monetary award that varies by recipient. Scholars without financial need receive at least $2,500 per year; scholars with financial need may receive an award up to their full demonstrated need. The scholarship renews for up to eight semesters (freshmen) or four semesters (transfers).
