About this scholarship
International students beginning their undergraduate studies in the UBC Vantage One Program at UBC Vancouver are eligible. Awards are granted on the basis of academic merit, with financial need also considered; the value of each award depends on the recipient's financial need.
Awards range in value up to the full cost of the student's academic program tuition and fees. Awards are renewed for up to three additional years or to degree completion, whichever is less, provided the recipient remains in the top quartile of their program year and maintains status as an international student in Canada. Awards are reviewed annually to assess academic progress and financial need.
The award is made on the recommendation of the UBC Vantage One Program in consultation with the UBC International Student Initiative.
