About this scholarship
First-year international undergraduate students at UBC Okanagan who listed an Okanagan degree as their first choice on the UBC application, were accepted, and enroll full time (24 Winter Session credits) in that first-choice program may receive the UBC Okanagan International Welcome Award.
The award is valued at $5,000 and is applied as a credit toward first-year tuition, with 50% applied in Term 1 and 50% in Term 2 for students enrolled in the required credit load.
No separate application is required. The credit is applied automatically after the student accepts UBC's offer of admission.
