About this scholarship

For Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons entering a direct-entry undergraduate program at UBC from high school or another post-secondary institution, with no previous degree, who demonstrate financial need and meet admissions requirements. One-time and renewable awards of up to $80,000. Your award application is considered only for your first-choice campus and degree.

Submit the UBC admission application and the UBC Entrance Award Application by the deadline. The award application includes a Description of Circumstance (maximum 1,000 words), a Reference Form, and a Parent/Guardian Form when applicable.
