About this scholarship
The TxCPAs Accounting Education Foundation Scholarship provides about $2,500 per academic year to Tarleton State University accounting majors who intend to become Texas CPAs. Eligible students must be full-time accounting majors with at least 110 credit hours completed by August 31 and not in their final semester, at least 21 semester credit hours of accounting with a 3.6 accounting GPA, and a filed application of intent to sit for the CPA exam with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Applicants submit an online TxCPAs form with coursework breakdown, employment history, funding sources, and official transcripts. About 50 Texas students receive awards statewide each year.
