Canadian students entering first year at Trent University from a Canadian secondary school, or transferring after at least two full-time semesters at another accredited Canadian post-secondary institution, with a final admission average of 80% or higher may receive Trent's National Renewable Entrance Scholarships. Part-time, non-degree, mature, BEd, and most college-certificate transfer students are not eligible. Students already receiving a Prestigious or other Trent entrance scholarship are not considered for this award.
Automatic renewable amounts by admission average are $1,500 per year (80 to 84.9%), $2,000 per year (85 to 89.9%), $3,000 per year (90 to 94.9%), or full first-year undergraduate Arts and Science tuition plus $4,000 per year for the next three years (95%+). Scholarships renew with a minimum 80% average in a full course load. No application is required.
