About this scholarship
Full-time thesis graduate students in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa presenting thesis-related research as first author at a research or clinical conference. The presentation must cover results obtained during the current program and related to the thesis. Applicants need supervisor approval. Funding is first-come, first-served subject to available funds.
MSc thesis students may receive up to $1,000 once during the program. PhD, MSc-to-PhD transfer, and MD/PhD students may receive up to $1,500 once per fiscal year, with a maximum of two awards total.
Submit the travel grant form, proof of acceptance, and a copy of the accepted abstract showing first authorship to cmmdept@uottawa.ca at least 10 business days before travel.
