About this scholarship

The Transfer Success Award is an automatic merit scholarship for nonresident transfer students admitted to Iowa State University who earned transferable academic college credits with a minimum 3.00 cumulative transfer GPA on a 4.00 scale. Students must enroll full-time following enrollment at a previous institution, pursue their first bachelor's degree, and pay nonresident tuition. The award cannot combine with the Transfer Achievement Award but may stack with Phi Theta Kappa scholarships or the Transfer Expedition Award. Preference is given to applicants admitted by March 1 for the upcoming fall semester. Renewal requires continuous full-time enrollment, at least 12 credits per semester, nonresident tuition status, and a minimum 2.50 cumulative ISU GPA.
