About this scholarship
The Transfer Student Merit Scholarship recognizes newly admitted fall-start transfer students at SUNY Buffalo State University who earned at least 24 college credits after high school and demonstrated academic excellence at their prior institution. Students with at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA are considered competitively with no separate application. Fall entrants receive $500 in their first fall semester, renewable for another $500 in the following spring semester if they remain enrolled full time with at least 12 credit hours and maintain a 3.25 GPA. Awards are pending available funds.
